Veterinary orthopaedics
Our head vet Karl has a keen interest in veterinary orthopaedics and is recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to be an Advanced Practitioner in this field.
The following procedures are routinely performed at our Derby hospital:
- MMP (TTA) to correct Cruciate Instability – over 100 procedures completed
- Patella Luxation (Knee-Cap Dislocation)
- Fracture Repair including Plating, Pinning and External Fixation
- Femoral Head Ostectomy
- Platelet Therapy
Our experienced staff use advanced monitoring equipment to ensure the safety of pets under anaesthesia.
